Top Social Apps on Android in Guatemala: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the top social apps on the Android platform in Guatemala showed varied performance across key metrics such as downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the market dynamics of these popular applications.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue, starting the quarter at approximately $14.8K and peaking at around $27.8K in early March. Weekly downloads were robust, reaching a high of about 49.2K in mid-January, despite a downward trend towards the end of the quarter. Active users consistently remained above 3.8M, peaking at over 4.2M in mid-February.

Facebook maintained steady weekly revenue, fluctuating around $1.2K to $1.6K. Downloads showed a declining trend from approximately 37.2K in mid-January to 26.2K by the end of March. However, the app’s active users remained stable, with figures consistently over 4.5M, peaking at about 4.8M in early March.

TikTok Lite - Save Data & Fast had modest revenue, with fluctuations between $61 and $222. Downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of around 34.2K in late February. The app saw a decrease in active users from about 462K at the start of the quarter to approximately 316K by quarter's end.

Instagram saw revenue increase in late February, reaching around $1.9K. Downloads declined slightly over the quarter, from 28K in January to 22.5K by the end of March. Despite this, active users grew, peaking at about 3.3M in late March.

Facebook Lite did not generate revenue but maintained a steady download count, starting at about 26.9K and ending the quarter at 20.5K. Active users showed a decline from approximately 407K to 311K.
